Local Cherry Wood Bowl
I made this bowl from Cherry that grew locally to me. The log had some rot in it which I cut to leave this interesting gap in the side. I filmed the process I went through to make this bowl and you can check it out on my Instagram @merrick_martins or my Facebook.
This bowl is 20cm (8 inches) in diameter.
Like all of my bowls, this one is food-safe. it is finished with a blend of carnauba wax and natural oils making it vegan, sustainable, and food safe. When the time comes to refresh the finish, to keep it looking nice if you are using it regularly, it couldn�t be easier. I use Uulki Wood Wax, it is inexpensive for a pot that will last for ages and is really easy to apply. It can also be used on your other wooden kitchen utensils so it�s keeping a pot in your kitchen.
All of my products come gift wrapped in tissue paper. If you have any special requests if its a gift please put this in the order notes and I will do my best to fulfill them.
